Healing Hands Whistler is an eco-friendly business that supports community and promotes health & wellness in Whistler and throughout the Sea-To-Sky corridor. Our services include massage, acutonics sound healing, acupuncture, cold laser acupuncture (LLLT), Traditional Chinese Medicine and Blood Analysis. We donate our time to various charities within British Columbia and abroad, participating in fundraiser events and donating proceeds to help with important causes.
Michelle Kaminski, R.Dr.TCM is the owner/operator of Healing Hands Whistler. Michelle graduated in 1999 with a Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine focussing on acupuncture, meridian systems, Eastern herbs, massage and diet therapy. In 2003, she completed examination for Dr.TCM and the Province of British Columbia recognized her status as a Registered Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
To expand her knowledge of the use of Western herbs and aromatherapy oils alongside Chinese herbs, Michelle volunteered at Gaia Garden, a herbal dispensary in Vancouver, BC, and continues to upgrade and invest in new techniques with further study in China, India, Thailand and Vietnam, with the world’s leading acupuncturists.
Most recently, she studied Facial Constitutional Acupuncture with Mary Elizabeth Wakefield, L.Ac. (New York), Esoteric Acupuncture with Mikio Sankey, L.Ac., Ph.D. (Los Angeles), and Shiatsu Massage, Acupressure Massage, Thai Massage and Reflexology at Source Point in Vancouver, BC.
Michelle works on patients with a variety of ailments – from the common cold, allergies, heart disease, diabetes, depression, cancer and multiple sclerosis, to epilepsy and sports injuries. Her forte is Deep Tissue Massage, working at the core of the injury site or the root of the problem. She combines Deep Tissue Massage with Acupressure and works with one’s trigger points to release tension and promote healing.
